JOURNALIST | HOST | REPORTER
Born and raised in the sweet tropics of Jupiter, Florida, Hana spent the majority of her wonder years captivated by mass media. Her passion for communications cultivated at a young age when she enrolled in Bak School of the Arts and continued at A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts until 2009.
Eager to pursue journalism, Hana attended Syracuse University and University of North Florida where she received a Bachelor of Arts in multimedia journalism in 2013. During her tenure at SU and UNF, she worked and interned with HerCampus.com, Void Magazine, Florida Times-Union, ESPN 106.3, WPTV-NBC NewsChannel 5 and WFLX FOX 29.
After graduation, Hana worked as a producer and host of Newstation.com and TheLaw.tv. During that time, she auditioned for FOX Sports Florida and landed the gig of being a brand ambassador. After only two weeks into the job, FOX promoted her to one of their sideline reporters and on-air hosts.
While at FOX Sports Florida, Hana wrote two weekly columns for the site, and helped cultivate, produce and host the shows The Midday Minute and The Florida Four.
Hana moved on to anchor at CBS Sports, where she contributed to all CBS Sports digital content including CBS News, NFL & NBA Live Draft Specials, 247Sports, SportsLine, Fantasy Football Today, Reiter’s Block, Kanell & Bell, CBS Sports podcasts and daily coverage of the entire national sports landscape. She went on to work with Entertainment Tonight & Tennis Channel.
In 2020, Hana cultivated a YouTube and podcast show, The Backup Plan, with her co-host and best friend Peyton Joy.
